Rental terms
1. Scope
These terms apply to every rental of a DRIVERS Car Rental vehicle in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (trade licence [trade licence number]). Our vehicles are Jetour T2 Defender Pack, rented without a driver. By booking, you accept these terms.
2. Driver
- Minimum age 21, with a driving licence held for at least 3 years.
- Before the keys are handed over: passport and driving licence. UAE residents show their UAE licence.
- Only the driver named in the booking may drive the vehicle.
3. Prices and payment
- Day 399 AED · week (7 days) 2,499 AED · month (30 days) 7,999 AED. Unlimited mileage. Free delivery anywhere in Dubai.
- A rental is charged by month, then week, then day, and never costs more than the next tier.
- At least 20% of the rental is paid by card when booking; the balance is paid by card or cash on delivery. The booking is confirmed once the advance is received.
4. Cancellation
- Up to 10 days before the start of the rental: free cancellation, everything is refunded.
- Less than 10 days before: the 20% advance is kept, the rest is refunded.
- No-show on the delivery day: same rule as a cancellation less than 10 days before.
5. Security deposit
- A 2,000 AED security deposit is charged by card when booking. It is not accepted in cash.
- It is refunded within 20 days after the vehicle is returned, the time needed to receive traffic fines and Salik tolls.
- Traffic fines, Salik tolls, missing fuel and any late period are deducted from the deposit. If they exceed 2,000 AED, the difference is charged to the card saved at booking, which you authorise when booking.
6. Delivery and return
- We have no physical office. The vehicle is delivered and collected free of charge at the address you choose in Dubai: hotel, home or DXB Airport.
- A check with photos is made at delivery and at return.
- Fuel: return the vehicle with the same level as at delivery; otherwise missing fuel is charged at cost.
- Late return: no late fee is charged. The late period is billed at the normal rental rate and deducted from the security deposit.
7. Use of the vehicle
- Unlimited mileage.
- Salik tolls are charged at the actual cost of each passage. Traffic fines during the rental are paid by the customer.
- The vehicle must not leave the United Arab Emirates. Driving to Oman is not allowed.
- Sub-renting or lending the vehicle to another driver is not allowed.
8. Child seat, accident, contact
- Child seat: 25 AED per day, capped at 250 AED per rental. In the UAE, children under 4 must travel in the back in a suitable seat.
- Accident: call the police on 999 and contact DRIVERS immediately. Do not move the vehicle without a police report unless the police ask you to.
